Abstract |
Background. Spiritual changes taking place in any society, including in Russia, require a revision of its values, principles, and certain strategies for the development of its spheres. Therefore, it is relevant to study the creative heritage of classical Eurasianism of the 1920–1930s, which paid special attention to the issues of the social and state structure of Russia. The neo-Eurasianism doctrines that took shape at the end of the 20th century necessitate separating the authentic Eurasianism ideas and views of their followers, establishing the continuity links between them and finding contradictions. The aim of the research is to analyze and compare the philosophical and economic concepts of classical Eurasians and neo-Eurasian A.G. Dugin. Materials and methods. The aim is achieved through the study and analysis of the works of classical Eurasians, as well as the works of A.G. Dugin. Special attention is given to the articles of modern researchers of classical Eurasianism and its followers. The methodology of the research includes the following methods of historical and philosophical analysis: specific historical method, comparative historical method of studying texts, historical reconstruction method. Such general scientific methods as comparison, synthesis, generalization, deduction and analogy are also used in the research. Results. The philosophical teachings of classical Eurasians and teaching of neo-Eurasian A.G. Dugin are analyzed. The views of classical Eurasians and A.G. Dugin within their economic teachings are clarified and specified. The theoretical principles of the philosophy of economy in classical Eurasianism and the economic philosophy of Duginism are compared, their projective developments are analyzed. Conclusions. Neo-Eurasian teaching of A.G. Dugin largely repeats the views of classical Eurasians, but develops them only within the specific political beliefs in the economic sphere. The philosophical and economic ideas expressed by classical Eurasians and A.G. Dugin can be applied in designing the projects for the future development of modern Russia. |
